I know I said I was going to return to Yewkay pollyticks after a very interesting few days in the Yewnited States, but the mid-turms just keep throwing up more exciting pollyticks to talk about.

If the news programmes were to be believed the republikan humans would have won the United States Congress with more of their humans in both the House of Representativs and the Sennit. Also lots of demmycrat-humans would have lost their seats.

As I said, both the She-Human and I were not convinced by this. My She Human has worked on a lot of elections and she likes to look at long lists of numbers and talk about swings and turnouts and postle votes. She says that although the Ginny Pig man liked to go to lots of his rallies and talk about himself a lot, she thought that JoeByden-Human and the demmycrats were busy in the background. Add to that the very angry She-Humans and the election was no foregone conclusion. If I have learned anything about She-Humans, I know that their fury is often silent and very effective.

There are some She-Humans however, who seem to buck the progressive trend and come out all reakshunry like Nadine Dorrit, Pretty Petal and Swella Brayverman in the Yewkay Tories. The trendbucking She-Humans in the Yewnited States are even worse (is this possible?). One of them, Karry Lake who used to work on a tee vee programme, decided she was going to run in Arryzona state as the governor. Karry Lake is known for her obsessive support of the the Trumpy one and still thinks that Donald Trump won the last election despite there being no evvydense to suggest this. Now the GP man is not known for his femmynist cred so why this She-Human so mad in her support of him? Is it the Human emotion called love perhaps? I consulted the She Human on this as she was piling up books on the Northern Irish border, ‘sounds to me, Mont’ she said ‘that some people have seriously internalised the paytriarchy’. That sounds bad, i am no expert on the paytriarchy, but I do know that it has to be smashed.

Karry Lake lost in Arizona, much to the delight of my humans and their friends and relatives in the Yewnited States so tonight they are going to have a traditional celebratory Yewnited States style hot dogs – I am hoping that they save me a bit.
