It’s elecshun time again in the Yewnited State of America. They seem to like elecshuns a lot over there and have them about every two years just to make sure that the Yewnited States humans don’t lose interest in the pollyticks. They have a thing called the mid-turms where half the sennytors and all the House of Representatives-humans are elected and I am told that there is a possibility that the House of Representatives could be won by the Republicans and even possibly the Sennit.

In the past, according to the Yewnited States politics humans, the midterm elections have been predictable. If the president is slightly unpopular like they say President JoByeden is, his party loses some seats and then most voter-humans disappear for two years until they turn up in greater numbers for the main show at the presydential elecshuns. But this time, according to the news-humans, the election will be far more interesting.

My humans tell me that the pollyticks are pretty mad here in the Yew-kay what with the Brekzits and the cost of cat food and the like, but no matter how mad Borris Johnsun or Lizztruss were and how mad Risshy Sunak will turn out to be, they will NEVER be as mad as Donald Trump the ginny pig man. The GP man provides a lot of material for me to get my teeth (and clawse) into and now he is threatening the poor Yewnited States-humans with a comeback.

The She-Human and I will be sitting up tonight to hear the results come in. The She-Human is very taken up with it all because there are lots of ‘issues at stake’ as she would say. My She-Human is a big femmynist and she is very worried about some of the things that the GP man and his friends have been doing to the Yewnited States She-Humans.

I am not a veteran of Yewnited States elecshuns, but my experience so far is that JoeByden-human is a cunning kind of human that has been doing the pollyticks for a very long time and is therefore not a human to be underestimated. He has been keeping a very low profile. I can relate to that, I tend to do that with opponents like the cat-next-door, Spunj. I hide under the bushes and then jump out on him with the element of surprise.

Same as two years ago, my She-Human tells me that it could all come down to Pensulvanyer where there is a very big fight going on between a very tall Demmycrat candidate John Fetterman-Human and one of the ginny pig man’s mates Dr Oz.

We were sent an artycul about this particular sennit fight by Grumpy Human from Collerado in the Yewnited States. Very interesting reading, I hear that Dr Oz-human likes to murder dogs….now I am not a great fan of dogs and tend to give them a wide berth, but murdering them in their hundreds is another matter altogether. Worse still, during the Covids Dr Oz-human suggested that the schools should be opened up as losing three percent of the human-kittens was a ‘tradeoff worth considering’. Perhaps he hoped to sell some of his quack medicines to the worried human parents?

I understand that the other candidate, John Fetterman-Human had a stroke on the campain trail, this was not a nice stroke like the She Human gives me in front of the TeeVee, but a terrible stroke that hurt his brain. Very nasty. He is recovering slowly and as the writer of the artycul said Fetterman may have suffered a stroke but he will recover. Oz, on the other hand, ‘will always be an avaricious, dog-murdering bastard’. This is the sort of observation I tend to hear from the She-Human and the He-Human when they are muttering about pollyticks or shouting at the teevee, so I am not shocked by the bad human-language.

Sounds like it is going to be a very long few days as these results pan out. Not only is half the Sennit and the whole of the House of Reprysentativs being elected, there are lots of state governors, state sennytors and representatives, so lots of facts and figures to look at. Unfortunately also, lots more elecshun results for the ginnypig man’s friends to dispute if they lose. The pollyticks humans on the TV are saying that losing candydates should be ‘gracious’ in defeat. Somehow we can’t see that happening. One thing that occurred to me is that if the demmycrats lost an elecshun to the GP man’s friends, how would the GP man’s friends feel if the demmycrats said they had cheated?

See everyone in a few days. I am eying the election snacks the She-Human has made and hope to launch a raid when she is not looking. Need to keep my strength up.
