It’s been a busy few weeks in my house with my humans rushing off to all sorts of meetings and when they havent been rushing off to meetings the She Human has been working on her dissertatayshun, which seems to involve buying lots of books from Amayzun and the He Human has been reading lots of pollyticks of his own. They have been pretty much glued to the pollyticks in the Yewnited States – more of that another time.
Then Krissmus happened and the humans seem to have completely mad cooking and wrapping things up in paper which is very good for me to stick my clawse into. I like the cooking bit because there are lots of tasty things for me to eat and even better my cat-friends Floyd and Pixie got their She-Human to send me a gift of some of my favourite biskits.
The humans also do this thing about bringing trees into houses which I have not managed to figure out as yet, it is sitting very close to my favourite sleeping spot in the room with the teevee. I am wondering if i should try climbing it? I hear that lots of cats get into trouble for this.

There is a lot of pollyticks of all kinds going on at the moment. The government here in the Yew-kay seems to be making lots of trouble for itself. Lots of humans are very cross because they are not getting paid enough money to meet their bills to keep their houses warm for cats to sleep in and not enough money to pay for cat food. This also affects humans too. A very bad situation. The cross worker humans have decided to do something about this and are doing something called going on strike. The worker humans have things called yewnions and they are there to help the worker humans get good pay from the boss humans. I will fill you in on this more.
Pollyticks in the Yewnited States are always interesting and we will be following this in more detail. Also with the She Human reading so many books and artikuls about Northern Irelalnd, I expect we will be hearing more about what’s going on there.
In the meantime, I would like to wish all my readers (and their cats) a very Merry Krissmus and a Happy New Year.
Monty (and his humans)
